Our lovely characterful three bedroom house in Ascot Vale is soon to be missing a tenant.
The location is right near the showgrounds, easy walk to tram and shops, and the 472 bus delivers you straight to the door. The Maribyrnong river is a five minute walk and Highpoint also a pleasant walk away.
The house is old in style but everything is in good condition. We have central heating, air con, separate generous living and dining rooms, a good sized bathroom and a nice big kitchen/meals with plenty of bench and pantry space. Also a backyard with nice garden, BBQ and two handy storage/working sheds and a vegie patch. Fully furnished except for the bedroom.
The room we're letting out is a very good size, plenty of room for a double bed, desk and some furniture, with polished floorboards and big built-in robes.
We, the current housemates, are all in our twenties and studying. We have two friendly cats, so animal people preferred. Unfortunately they are not so friendly towards other animals, so extra pets are not really an option. We like to keep things clean and tidy but are not obsessive about it. Smoking is ok as long as it's outside and clean. There is also space for off-street parking. We like books, movies, board games and friendly chats while chopping vegetables.
